 Join us for 3 nights at the fabulous Omni Mt. Washington Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire & 3 nights at Lodge on the Cove in Kennebunkport, Maine in the peak of the beautiful Fall Foliage season. Highlights include: Vermont Country Store, Maple syrup presentation at Fadden's original General Store, Narrated Pontoon Boat Ride "On Golden Pond"' & wildlife presentation at Squam Lake Science Center, stop at famous Lighthouses (Portland Head, Bug Light, Spring Point Ledge & Nubble), Historic Waterfront District of Portland, Lobstering Cruise & Lobster Choice Dinner, Drive by President Bush's Estate at Walker's Point, Scenic Tours while in New Hampshire & Step-on guided tours in Maine, a walk on Marginal Way Atlantic Shoreline Path in Ogunquit, shopping, bonfire with S'mores, awesome food and more.

Day 1: Monday

• Stacy will serve breakfast enroute on the motorcoach 

• A comfort stop will be made approx. every 2 - 2.5 hours

•  Lunch included enroute 

• Dinner on your own

• Check in at Hampton in Syracuse, New York

•  Relax for the evening at the hotel

  Day 2: Tuesday

• Start your day with breakfast included at the hotel
• Depart for Vermont & New Hampshire
• Lunch on your own at Vermont Country Store
• Check-in at the stunning Omni Mt. Washington in Bretton Woods New Hampshire, our home for 3 nights. Stroll the magnificent wrap-around porch of this famous Grand Hotel overlooking the majestic White Mountain views. Indoor heated pool & hot tub & heated outdoor pool.

• Relax & unwind at the resort

Day 3: Wednesday              

•  Start your day with breakfast included at the resort  

• Late morning departure

• Maple Syrup presentation at Fadden's Original Store

• Narrated Canopied Pontoon Boat Ride "On Golden Pond" (Squam Lake) Yes, the movie was filmed here! You'll see loons & bald eagles. Lunch included.

• Dinner included at a local favorite

Day 4: Thursday

• Start your day with breakfast included at the resort

• Free time most of the day to enjoy the beautiful resort

• Mid-afternoon departure for a scenic drive through the White Mountain Region with sights of waterfalls & a stop at Jackson Covered Bridge

• Free time in scenic North Conway Village & shops

Day 5: Friday

• Sleep-in & start your day with breakfast included at the resort
• Enjoy the resort & Late check-out

• Depart 

• Travel to Ogunguit! Welcome to Maine & enjoy lunch on your own and an afternoon walk on Marginal Way Shorepath overlooking the rocky cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean in Ogunquit.

• Check-in at The Lodge On The Cove in Kennebunkport, Maine, our home for 3 nights. This lodge is a laid back restored motorlodge in a wooded area & on a cove with a fresh & modern twist. We will have the place mostly to ourselves, since they only have 31 guest rooms with 4 different cottage style buildings including a clubhouse where a full breakfast will be served each morning. There is a heated outdoor pool along with bonfires & free s'mores and corn hole.

Day 6: Saturday

• Enjoy a full breakfast included at the lodge
• Depart for Portland, Maine's largest city by the sea to meet our step-on guide. See Longfellow's boyhood home, sea captain houses & elegant Victorian mansions and drive through historic neighborhoods overlooking the islands of Casco Bay in Portland Harbor. Photo stops at Portland Head Lighthouse, Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse & Bug Park to see the Bug Light in this historical former shipyard. Enjoy Old Portland Exchange's cobblestone streets for lunch on your own in the historic waterfront district.

Day 7: Sunday

• Enjoy a full breakfast included at the lodge

• Depart for a morning 50 minute Maine Lobstering Cruise on an 84 passenger lobster boat. Learn how these men make their living as we cruise on the ocean past Walker's Point and Bumpkin Island, a year round home to sea birds & seals.

• Lunch on your own & shopping in Kennebunkport's Dock Square

• Step-on guided tour of Kennebunkport & Kennebunk, 2 shipbuilding villages. Travel through the port and drive past President Bush's summer home at Walker's Point & more.

• Refresh at the lodge

• Depart for a stop at the famous Nubble Lighthouse for many photo opportunities.

• Choice Lobster dinner included TBA

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In the event of an emergency that would prevent you from going on the trip, we will try to refund as much as possible, depending upon reservation policies of suppliers. Kellam Road Trips cannot guarantee any refunds if you have to cancel 90 days prior to an extended trip, unless a replacement can be found. If Kellam Road Trips cancels the trip, you will get a full refund.
